Ähnlich verhält es sich bei der Musik der Folk-Pop-Band THE SAY HIGHS: seit ihrer Gründung 2005 in Berlin schreibt und produziert die Band um Dave McGinty und Guido Kreutzmüller in bester Folktradition unaufgeregte B-Seiten und Albumtitel, die sie seither auf unzählige Straßen, Bühnen, Clubs, Theater, Bars und Wohnzimmerstühle geführt hat – inklusive Support-Gigs für Bands wie Blumfeld, The Posies, Kula Shaker, The Sea and Cake, Jack Penate und The Twang.

Als raffiniert gestaltete Kollagen kommen die Songs live wie auf Album als Gesamtkunstwerke daher, in dem die Lust am experimentellen Zusammenspiel in jedem Moment hörbar ist.
