His love for music originated from his Grandmother, a piano teacher, and his Uncles who performed with jazz bands around the country. His BIO states, in his earlier life, he was a member of the famous Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul Marching Band and sang in his father’s church choir. Kirk produced his first album in 1985 and, since then, his discography has amassed to over 25 album compilations.
