Southampton University Brass Band performing Strong to Save at UniBrass 2015. Composed by Roger Trigg.

Southampton University Brass Band is a friendly and enthusiastic un-auditioned brass band. They perform in regular concerts and gigs in venues across the city and in the wider Hampshire community.

Last summer, the band went to Manchester to compete at the Whit Friday Marches, after deciding that UniBrass was just not enough time to spend in each other's company.

So far, the band's year has been a busy but successful one, starting the academic year by playing in Southampton's Music in the City Festival and continuing with regular busking sessions, concerts and socials.

An exciting tour to Bruges is also being organised this year, which will be our first foreign excursion as a band.
