"Lost Property sounded great on radio, rather dark and powerful."

Melita Dennett, BBC Introducing

"Joy Division and grown-up Simple Minds rhythms with a 21st century twist!"

Steve Pitt, The Eastney Cellars

“Weekend Call 8/10 - Sounding futuristic on one hand and like a lost, post-punk classic on the other, this is close to mind blowing."

Planet Sound, Teletext

“The EP’s high point is Weekend Call, where Lewis Brown’s intentionally dour vocals are best complimented by the comparatively upbeat instrumentation-a disco-esque drum rhythm, melodic guitar riffs that give

the track the driving impetus that characterises it-this is where the band loosen their shoulders and are at their best."

Matt Golding, The Fly

“Portsmouth based dark hued indie-ites…prowling Killers via Interpol type choons replete with swathes of string sounds. The vocal resembles Michael Stipe but the music is pure post Joy Division

bleakness."

Bugbear Bookings, The Hope and Anchor

"If you have a thing for old fashioned English indie, the kind of thing the NME might have gotten a bit excited by when it actually gave a shit about music, then this will be right up your street."

Andy Malcolm, collective-zine.co.uk

Rivers of Sound was born out of a passion to make great, meaningful music; a growing desire to step up and make a difference in these tedious musical times. The Rivers use their differing influences and wide age

range between them to weave something which is most clearly their own.

Groovy bass lines lock in with intricate, driving drum beats. This is complimented by shimmering guitar moments which can be beautiful but also brutal. Meaningful vocals of pain, joy and everything else in between are

delivered by a frontman who thrives on stage, connecting with the audience.
