The third one. Friends is the greatest show ever made, like ever, ever ever, in like every way. Schwimmer and Aniston even took pay cuts so that everyone would be paid the same (and so that everyone would be a main character), how fr'icken legendary is that?

This tune is absolutely pure beaut and, fun fact; "Happy Shiny People" by REM was the original theme song in the first version of the pilot, thank god they didn't stick with it. Then Kauffman, Crane, and Bright (show's creators) went and worked with the Rembrandts and made the song specifically for the show; personally I would deem it one of the iconic tracks of the 90s. There are sooooo many things I want to say about the show, but there certainly wouldn't be enough room here. The 90s were awesome.

Drum Talk:
I had the most minimalistic set-up for this track simply because I didn't need any other cymbals, and I don't like having things set-up just "for show". The last section of this song was absolute murder, you're cracking out 32nd notes at like 97-ish bpm for around 32 consecutive bars (if not more), doesn't seem too bad in theory, but I founded it difficult :) (those smiles during it, are smiles of pain).

This again is another endurance track, seeing as the right hand is basically playing 16th notes the entire way through. I think that all my tom parts were in half-time, and there's the little herta/ triplet fill right before the "no-one would ever know you" section.

Again, I absolutely loveeeeee this tune and the show, so it was very important to me that the drums properly served the song.

I just wanna straight-up say that I do pre-write my drum parts for the studio environment, and if I went into the studio to record this with lads, these are the drums I would have played and recorded. I really dislike unnecessary drum parts (pointless fills etc) and my main goal is to 'serve the song'.

I'd like to thank one of my best mates Ruairi Grew for helping me with the artwork, lighting, camera angles, video mastering, and teaching me how to do them so that I can competently do them by myself. If he http://www.ruairigrew.com

Tech talk:
There are no mics visible because I record the video and audio separately, and I think it's silly to have them out just "for show" because of numerous impracticality reasons. I also only own two cameras, so my performances are pieced together from multiple takes (usually two from each angle).

Also, no triggering, layering, or any of that fancy stuff was used. This is a 100.498% acoustically recorded mix that was recorded, mixed, mastered, filmed, edited, and mastered entirely by myself. I don't think it turned out woeful, but some people might disagree.
