DESCRIPTION:
From the Regal custom shop, this is a very flashy, small body flat top with multicolored marquetry trim around the top, back, sides and sound hole as well as abalone inlayed around the top and sound hole. The top is spruce and the back and sides are Brazilian rosewood! The body is 13" wide, the scale is 24-1/4. The bridge appears to be a reproduction but is nicely crafted. There is some pulling to the top but it seems very stable. There are no major complications but the center seam on the top has been reglued. The peghead is slotted and has beautifully engraved tuners. There are a few patches and extra braces inside to stabilize the top. The guitar plays good with silk and steel. Price: $1299.00
