Vincitrici del Red Bull Street Kings 2013 di New Orleans, The Original Pinettes sono probabilmente l'unica brassband esclusivamente femminile al mondo! Fondata nel 1991 ai tempi in cui le musicisti erano tutte studentesse alla St. Mary'sCatholic School di New Orleans e composta da una decina di membri, la band è popolarissima nella Città del Delta. Quella di Ascona una delle primissime occasioni in cui si esibirà a livello internazionale!

Winners of the Red Bull Street Kings 2013, The Original Pinettes is the world's only all-female brass band. This 10-piece brass bandwas formed in 1991 when the group's members were students at the all-girls St. Mary's Catholic School. The band has toured internationally and regularly plays gigs around the New Orleans area.
