DESCRIPTION:
"The Pears" at the very beginning of their career. Five mop topped boys at the age of sixteen.
This is the first steady line-up of the Pears. They played (stayed) together for eight years. After changing their lead vocalist in February 1987, they continued to play the Austrian club circuit with continually growing success as far as summer 1992.

Luckily this evening was captured on Super8 home movie film and was recorded with a reel to reel tape recorder (one microphone only). Both, film and tape survived in different archives and were brought together in summer 2012 for the very first time. An outstanding time document!
