So I had to wonder what the parks department said to Pink Fabric, playing away on a nice sunny day in Union Square. My thought was, "Hey, you guys are pretty cool. Do you have a gig coming up where I can pay a cover to see you?" Nope. The Parks Dept supervisor wanted the band to leave, Pink Fabric said they weren't going to, so the parks dept told them to play quietly. As much as I'd like to joke that they should go after performers who aren't very good, busking is not a crime.
