BIOGRAPHY
The band "OTHER VOICES" was born in the late 90s playing a repertoire based on the classics of darkwave and performing in the region of Calabria. They have since started shape and structure their own first productions. In 2004 they decided to work on their first project in a recording studio resulting with the realisation of their first album "Anatomy of a Pain" produced in 2005 by a roman label "In The Night Time".
This was the start for the O.V. for live performances in the Italian capital and various cities around Italy. The album "Anatomy of a pain" was reviewed by many magazines and web magazines and it is played by several foreign radio stations. The well known Italian magazine "RITUAL" named the O.V. between the most interesting bands in the Italian scene of 2006. The band have not only been the supporting band of El Guapo, the famous avant-rock American band, but they also played support in Rome to "The Buzzcocks", one of the most influential punk groups of the 70s.
In the summer of 2006 the band was called to participate in the "Blüthenrausch Summer Fest " annual Festival held in Berlin. The band was dedicated an entire evening at which they presented their album "Anatomy of a pain" and some un-edited tracks from their second album. Most recently the O.V. have finished recording their second album called "Too dirty to reflect".On Semptember 2009 The Other Voices are in Liverpool recording their first two singles " beloved Child" and "Your Love" with Francesco Mellina, ex manager of Dead or Alive, and the support of well known or famous producer "Yorkie", (ex bass player of The Space-His production work to date includes:CIRCLESOUND,SHACK,SEVEN SEALS ,IVAN CAMPO ,SPACE and many moore.).
Next the O.V will be busy working on and recording new material in Italy and UK.

BIOGRAFIA
Gli "OTHER VOICES" nascono verso la fine degli anni '90 eseguendo un repertorio basato sul dark classico e suonano tra le varie province Calabresi. Nel contempo cominciano a prendere forma ed a strutturare i loro primi pezzi. Nel 2004 decidono di lavorare al loro primo progetto in studio impegnandosi nella realizzazione del loro primo album "Anatomy of a Pain", che nel 2005 verrà prodot.to dalla label romana "In The Night Time.". Per gli O.V. inziano così i primi live fuori dal territorio calabrese esibendosi nella capitale ed in varie città del suolo nazionale. Il disco "Anatomy of a pain" viene recensito da varie riviste e webmagazine del settore e viene suonato nelle stazioni radio estere, Australia (Sidney), Francia, USA (Indiana) Germania, Polonia e Inghilterra. La band Oltre ad aver fatto da spalla agli El guapo noto gruppo avant-rock americano, fanno da supporto a Roma ad una delle massime espressioni del punk degli anni 70 I Buzzcocks che insieme a Ramones, Sex Pistols e Clash hanno dato vita al movimento punk. "Ritual Magazine" ( speciale dossier Italia) inserisce la band tra le più interessanti del 2006. Nell'estate dello stesso anno, gli Other Voices vengono chiamati in Germania a partecipare al "Blüthenrausch Summer Fest " Festival annuale che si svolge in estate a BERLINO. Alla band è stata dedicata un intera serata dove hanno proposto l'album "Anatomy of a pain" ed alcuni inediti del secondo disco. Gli Other Voices hanno terminato da poco il loro secondo album che avrà come titolo "Too dirty to reflect" e verrà presentato in anteprima nei live futuri.A settembre 2009 gli Other Voices vengono chiamati in Inghilterra precisamente a Liverpool a registrare i loro primi due singoli "Beloved Child" e Your Love" affiancati dall'ex manager dei Dead or Alive Francesco Mellina ed il noto produttore "Yorkie" (ex bassista degli Space-Nei suoi lavori di produzione includono nomi come: CIRCLESOUND,SHACK,SEVEN SEALS ,IVAN CAMPO ,SPACE e molti altri.)Nel mese di settembre del 2010 gli Other Voices ritorneranno a Liverpool per completare il lavoro di registrazione del nuovo Album che Uscirà in Inghilterra nei primi mesi del nuovo anno. A maggio del 2010 Gli other voices sono stati impegnati come band di supporto Nel Live di Wayne Hussey Cantante dei THE MISSION (ex dead or alive e Sisters of Mercy). A Settembre 2010 gli Other Voices Ritornano a Liverpool e terminano il lavoro di registrazione iniziato l'anno prima. L'uscita dell'EP è prevista nei primi mesi del 2011 in Inghilterra, insieme al disco uscirà un video tape promozionale della song che sarà il singolo del disco, "Beloved Child".
Dicono di loro: "Mick Mercer" noto ed affermato giornalista inglese famoso in tutto il mondo per i suoi volumi sul "dark" . Dice : Vengono da un luogo che non conosco, come un ospite inatteso, per rimanere con me per un lungo periodo. Io li amo.
La rivista "Ritual magazine" recensisce: "Anatomy of a pain" tratta, di ballate indolenti, aggrappate ai muri dell'angoscia, che tradiscono lo spirito di una poesia nata come rigurgito esistenzialista.
"Erbadellastrega" noto Webmagazine recensendo il disco dice: Darkwave di classe come non se ne fa da anni, raffinata, malinconica, non aggressiva eppur toccante.

"Uno dei motivi fondamentali che ha dato vita a questo disco è la emergenza che avevamo di raccontarci, di farci capire. Il bisogno morboso di trascrivere in musica l'uragano emotivo che ha travolto e cambiato le nostre vite dal 98 ad oggi, e cioè , da quando per la prima volta ognuno di noi ha provato a far suonare uno strumento.
Otto canzoni quasi fossero un diario, un quaderno di appunti dove, momento dopo momento mettevamo in musica quanto accadeva attorno e (soprattutto) dentro di noi.
Testi apparentemente basati sull'immaginario ma stracolmi di simbolismi che richiamano attimi di una vita, vissuta da ognuno di noi davvero intensamente. E che fanno di Anatomy of a pain un disco fortemente autobiografico." by other voices
OTHER VOICES
"One of the main reasons behind this album is the necessisty of tell ourselves to the others. The morbid need of translating into music the "emotional hurricane" which has overwhelmed our lives, from 1998, that is the first time that any of us started to play a musical instrument, till today.
Eight songs which are like a diary, a notebook in which, moment after moment, we have written what happened around and (above all) inside us.
Lyrics apparently based on the imaginary, but full of symbolisms that recall moments from our life, and which makes Anatomy of a pain a deeplly autobiographic album."
