Everything is romantic in this empire - and this empire is nothing.

Post Romantic Empire is an international project which aims at representing the evolution and the interpretation of romantic themes and motifs in contemporary culture. our aim has always been to gather our ideas, images and experiences in a book, but we just realized that Pre is also an ongoing process and that the daily updated blog is a unique space we can have. This blog will therefore strongly influence the writing of the book. Postromanticism is the reality we are experiencing, and is a lens with which to observe more vividly.

Post Romantic Empire states that everything is romantic. post indicates what comes from - not what comes after.?starting as a photographic research, Pre gave a name and an aim and identity to a recording label, an artist booking agency and, now, a webzine.

Another key to the doors of perception.

Cultural psychology, music and postcards, light and darkness: an everyday guide to the romanticized world.

This brand new website has been created to act as a window on the final stages of our activities, especially on those themes and their related areas that we have considered and studied whilst writing the book post romantic empire but for which we will not find space in the book itself. The structure that is offered by a blog is perfect for this reason: anyone can suggest other features or challange our ongoing analysis.

Researching on post-romanticism is researching on ourselves.
