The New Rock Chemists

Having been described as "one of the most interesting local bands on the scene at the moment," by a local news paper (Herald and Post), the New Rock Chemists splice indie guitars with electro synth sounds along with lyrics that the person on the street can relate to. Formed at the end of 2005 the Chemists started putting together their unique sound in a small Fife town, Ballingry. The Chemists played their first gig in May 2006 and since then have played in various cities across UK and Ireland, having had some memorable nights along the way, playing venues such as the Barrowland 2 and Liverpool's famous cavern club and the Strand in Ballyliffin, Ireland to name a couple. At present they are working on their first EP. This should be hitting the streets SOON!
