Cinemascope Remix Version ! Collage Homage to The Master !
Words and music by Jimi Hendrix. From the original 1968 Reprise (US) vinyl release: "Electric Ladyland".
Original Vinly LP Extended Mix by DJ Yebo. (1997) HQ Audio.

Note: I met MM in Colony Records NYC in 1967, I was a 15yr old drummer. Soon after, I went to see EXP @ The Salvation, a club at Sheridan Sq. in the W. Village. It was like nothing I had ever seen before nor since. One of their first USA appearances, if not the first. I also saw Jimi @ Wollman Rink, Central Park w/ the Rascals! ($3) - 3 different shows at the Fillmore East; the Singer Bowl in Flushing and Randalls Island, one of the first NYC Rock Festivals.
Lucky times, who knew his career would be so short.
The music lives on and so does the experience (i.e., the memory).
"Hey Wesley Snipes!..........you can't hear Jimi!"

Buddy Miles plays drums on this track.
Credits to Mike Finnigan - Organ and "pure chitlin' circuit organ bass groove"...(thx Todd Phipps!)
Freddie Smith - Tenor Sax.
And yes, C.Wood and Winwood contribute to other tracks on the LP (Voodoo Chile / Moon Turn the Tides....) and the album was not actually recorded at Electric Lady (it was built afterward). However, the video is dedicated to the Jimi experience, the album (original vinyl recording) and ELS, plz no haters, thanks - Enjoy! Yebo.

R.I.P. - Jimi, Mitch & Noel
