DESCRIPTION:
This is the music video for Strike the Clock, by Brisbane-based indie punk-rock band Girl With Cake. I shot this in the Gap one afternoon with Producer Jaala Webster and it cost the girls $200 to make, which went to the adorable fairy-tale costumes.

This music video was one of the 16 grand finalists in SunScreen 2007, a national competition to uncover Australia's most talented music clip makers.
The finalists were shown over the day at Festival of the Sun, the only purely independent music video festival in Australia, where punters were able to vote via their mobiles to select who the winner of SunScreen 2007.

Girl With Cake started off as a bunch of lovely girls who loved nothing better than to sit down with a nice slice of cake and play HEAVY (and sometimes pretty friendly) DEADLY MUSIC. Their style is best described as indie-rock with a punk edge.
