DESCRIPTION:
Spent some reflective moments this morning at the John F. Kennedy memorial, just outside Jerusalem. Today, November 22nd, 2013, marks 50 years since the assassination of President Kennedy in Dallas, Texas. The memorial consists of pillars containing the seal of each of the 50 states of the USA. It takes the form of a tree trunk, symbolizing that John Kennedy's life was cut short tragically. An eternal flame burns inside the memorial in President Kennedy's memory.
