And so It begins. New Music. Stefan Murphy, Gary Lonergan, Brian Farrell and Dan Fitzpatrick went away to make an album in Los Angeles CA with producer Alain Johannes in the spring of 2013. On the crest of a pretty wild adventure the group came away with a collection of 15 new songs that they believe will redefine the essence of THE MIGHTY STEF a group founded by Murphy many moons and many line-up changes ago. The year or so coming up to the LA exodus had thrown up many challenges. Having come out the other end with a body of work that the group are truly proud of has been the pay-off. They are now ready to start again.

Vampire, Hold Me Tight is the first song that will see the light of Day. Its taken from the bands introductory release 'IVEAGH FLATS EP' a 3-track taster of whats to come. 'Vampire' was written in the wake of the death of a friend and in advance of some challenging times for the band. An reluctant but catchy pop single. The Mighty Stef teamed up director Lindsey Byrne once again to make this abstract performance style video. We also acknowledge the use of some projections from a certain classic british film that has long been a favourite among the group.
