Here is Arthur Collins, one of the most prolific and popular Baritones found on recordings over the first 20 years of the 20th Century, singing "Below the Mason Dixon Line, words and music composed by Dave Reed and featured on an Edison combination 2 & 4 minute Home (D) Phonograph. The Home D made its appearance in the USA in October of 1908 to coincide with the first Edison 4 minute Amberol Records. Edison produced over 1100 titles on 4 minute wax Amberol Records before curtailing production in November of 1912, and then producing the much more resilient 4 minute Blue Amberol Records.
