DESCRIPTION:
Hello World! In today's video, I'm showcasing why you should never use jumper cables to start a car, truck, van or suv. there are aspects that should be considered prior to placing your vehicle in harms way.

One thing to consider is, how good is your charging system? If you yourself have had problems in the past with starting, charging or jumping then you may want to consider other options to helping someone else out.

Second, if you were to become stranded, do you have someone else to help you? I have been in positions before even as a mechanic when while helping someone else out, my vehicle became impaired. Who helps the mechanic when the mechanics car is down? The nearest parts store and the mechanics understanding of tools, and resources.

Lastly, do you know how to properly use jumper cables or a jump box? While this may be easy to say yes, I have personally seen cars that have had there complete electrical system fried and even worse full cars burned to the ground from making quick and bad decisions in regards to jumping a car. In short which always tends to be longer than usual, the red (positive) terminal connections goes with the red and the black terminal connection (ground). And as a general rule of thumb, the positive terminal is bigger than the ground terminal.

Do the following procedure with extreme caution. You are fully responsible for any injury or harm that happens from attempting the things you may see in this video. All that aside, be careful, try something new, and get back on the road safely today.
In conclusion, If you are going to jump start a car, don't use jumper cables. A jumper box is convenient, safe, and fast. Don't be on the road without one. Following is a link to the very product I am using and like stated in the video, I am a mobile mechanic and personally use this for my customers cars.
