The Jet Boys completed their final line up in 2008 and have since gigged extensively around the Midlands and parts of Yorkshire. They have been chosen to open local festivals, appeared on local radio, newspapers, magazines, fanzines and have built up a dedicated following. After supporting The Paddingtons & The Automatic in spring 2010, The Jet Boys are looking forward to releasing new demos/EPs, going on a country-wide tour and continuing to write the ferocious raw music that has been shaped by their influences, who include such names as;
The Pixies, The Libertines, The Velvet Underground, Arctic monkeys, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Nirvana, Johnny Thunders, New York Dolls, Richard Hell, Led Zepplin, The Strokes, Iggy Pop, The Kills, Richey Edwards era-Manic Street Preachers, Jimi Hendrix, N.W.A, Jeff Buckley, Arther Rimbaud and The Smiths.
