Composed by Michael Z. Gordon, this was the very first cover of "Outer Limits" in 1963, before the title was changed to "Out Of Limits". To date there have over 100 covers of the song by almost every surf group and others including one of my favorite groups, The Ventures. And it has been used in many movies including Pulp Fiction, not to mention many tv shows and commercials. Gordon won two BMI Awards for his songs, "Apologize" and "Out Of Limits" by the Marketts, one of the two groups founded by Gordon during his six years touring with The Routers and The Marketts. Gordon went on to become a successful movie producer with films like "Narc" with Ray Liotta and Jason Patric.
