DESCRIPTION:
Janet Martin has a new band, a new look, and new songs. Everyone in the band is very experienced, and multi-instrumental. Normally a guitar player & singer Bruce Olsen (of Bruce Olsen & the Offenders) is the drummer. Normally a drummer, Kris Krull (with The Atkinsons & other bands) is playing bass, percussion, and singing great third part harmonies. Usually on guitar, vocals, and excellent percussion, Tina Marie (Sister Sweet, King Solomon's Marbles, Bart Chucker Band, Whistler's Mother, & Mother's Little Helper), adds accordion, guitar, & vocals (lead & backup) to the mix. Janet fronts the band, switching between three acoustic or electric guitars, crazy great slide leads, and even takes tours on mandolin for some of her songs (many original).

I've seen & filmed Janet on dozens of occasions, with many different configurations of the best area players, but I believe this combination is the best yet.

This song was from the 11th VibeFest in May 2015, a benefit to support efforts of the Positive Vibe Cafe in the Stratford Hills Shopping Center, Richmond VA.The Positive Vibe Cafe is a restaurant & training school for the disabled, which receives staunch support from local citizens, and many of the best members of the musical community. The VibeFest always deserves a circle on the calendar.
