Kimo's, a gay bar/drag queen hang out on Polk street has shows in San Francisco. When they started booking punk bands, bands HAD to play in drag. Touring bands would stop at thrift stores before the shows. It was a lot of fun, but after a while they stopped enforcing the rule. I say bring it back!
