Gonna' Be Rich (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's Titus Andromedon vs The Four Karaoke Tops) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 29, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
For "Gonna' Be Rich", this video is fine . . . I worked on it like any other and it's ok, it's great . . but it's a completely different, almost separate experience, even more then most. And this one seems much more like "know the song awhile, then see the video" . . . yeah, like That'll swing y'all over to my little plan !

I'm always proclaiming "audio primary -- video secondary !", and this one truly shines as a listening experience.
A video is the horse that carries the rider out into the world, with the notion being that more folks will watch a vid then click on a plain audio link.
Am I right, or . . . ?

This here piece featuring a wide-range of samples of Tituss Burgess, as Titus Andromedon on "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt", flowered shortly after the "Kimmy Goes to Court" episode ended with the mock viral-video "Gonna' Be Famous".
"Well, that was great ! . . too darn short tho' . . . I need that to be longer . . you know, like She said ?"

I suppose anyone could enjoy this on a musical level, but better you should've enjoyed season one while, at the time I'm writing this, we're looking forward to season 2 !

Various funky instrumentals were considered, but the one I kept thinking of was The Four Tops "When She Was My Girl".

instrumental released as B-side like so many other soul singles ? -- nope !

available moggs or isolated tracks ? -- no Sir !

was the karaoke version from Ameritz well-performed, evocative
and swingin' enough to work with ? -- and then some !

Up until a few weeks before the time I was hoping would be the right "release
date" (( after working on this nearly a year )) I had not included a sample of Jane Krakowski as Jacqueline Voorhees.
Wasn't like I didn't enjoy her character as much as any other . . there just hadn't been a line that felt like it fit the feel. Not until I was going thru the eps once more for video-bits and her laugh after telling Kimmy she wouldn't "want to fire her" again stood out.

Oh good . . inclusion !

As I may have already said ad nauseous, the video experience is separate and secondary to the audio, but it's still pretty nifty how moments align in new ways.
The "Help me . . Please !!" of Werewolf Titus was not originally intended to perfectly highlight Dong being stuck in the "cake-icing" wall.

There's load'sa moments where enhanced stills and clips add a new level to this Unbreakable Mash, but I don't want you reading this section till you've played it a few times in your car or your tub or your breakfast nook !

You're good with that . . . right ?
