Sunday June 28th, 2015 the Grand River Water Festival will be happening all day and into the evening, back on the banks of the Grand River at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan. For the 6th time, the Grand River Water Festival is a celebratory call to action. This free, family-oriented event attracts people from all walks of life with great music, workshops, kids’ activities and vendors.

Bands this year include Seth and May Bernard, Fauxgrass, Grammy Award winning Peter “Madcat” Ruth, Hawks and Owls string band, Drew Nelson, Dede and the Dreamers, among others.

Speakers and organizations will educate the public about critical water issues and give them the opportunity to help make a difference.

The festival’s primary sponsors are The City of Grand Rapids,
Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, the Grand River Water Festival Committee, and Hawks and Owls String Band.

Other sponsors include an array of businesses working to become more environmentally-friendly.
