Crown 3485 - Recorded March 1933

I have no idea who these "Golden Bears" were, perhaps a local band in New York City. Sorry about the noise at the beginning.

Stanley Kerwin Somerville was born in 1905 in West Virginia and, in addition to being a vocalist, played baritone saxophone. He worked with Tommy Tucker's orchestra from 1933 to 1945. He was also apparently a ninth generation descendant of George Washington! Somerville died in 1975.

Transferred from original 78 RPM record by R.C. Montgomery.
