Born from the on-stage musicians performing in the West End hit musical FELA! The Fontanelles have stepped forward as the standard bearers of UK Afro-beat and hi-life music. Blending an intensely authentic sound with original compositions their debut album, “Horns of Freedom” was released to critical acclaim at the end of 2013 and showcased an evolution in sound to incorporate dub, jazz and cinematic references to an already electrifying live set.
