DESCRIPTION:
PHAEDRA have been active since January 1993.
The band quickly put together a repertoire based on classic pieces from the progressive
rock era (Genesis, Yes, Rush, etc.) which gathered some attention in theatres and open-air events.
In September 2000 Phaedra introduces a new line-up with the proposal to write songs in Italian and produce a concept-show. In 2002 the band plays at the 10th edition of Concentratissimo Rock (Trento) and is awarded the 1st prize as "best original band" .
In June 2010 the rock opera PTAH was finally released as a self-financed album achieving great reviews all over the world.
PHAEDRA also contributed to the project " A flower full of stars " (a tribute to the Swedish band Flower Kings) with the track "Calling home"; the aforementioned box was released by Musea in 2011.
In July 2013 BEYOND THE STORM, the second album, was released.
Here the band performs the Yes classic Heart of the sunrise.
