Music Mosaic Highlights - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 04, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
On Sunday, September 29, spectators gathered at the Bandstand in Wascana Park (Regina) to experience Saskatchewan Choral Federation's first Music Mosaic. The event was one of the many free cultural events that took place across Canada as part of the Culture Days celebrations. Spectators had the opportunity to hear diverse genres of music, from First Nations drumming to Gospel to German folk songs, reflecting Saskatchewan's rich cultural diversity. Performing at this year's Music Mosaic were Saskatoon's Lone Creek singers (First Nations drumming and singing), Dominic Gregorio (Filipino Art Songs), Prairie Gold Chorus (Women's Barbershop Harmony), Matt Rapley (Gospel/R & B), and Volksliederchor Harmonie (German folk songs).

Saskatchewan Choral Federation would like to thank the Honourable Ralph Goodale and CJTR Regina Community Radio for their support of Music Mosaic and gratefully acknowledges Saskatchewan Lotteries funding accessed with the assistance of the SaskCulture and the Saskatchewan Arts Board.
