DESCRIPTION:
This is a demo of my recently acquired, Victory Amps V50 Head, nicknamed "The Earl"

Its a 50 watt EL34, 2 channel head with shared EQ. There is a pull crunch feature on the clean channel and a switchable boost on the lead channel. It can also be fitted with 6L6 tubes and there is a switchable bias to allow this, although Victory says the switch only gets you in the ball park area, as far as bias for 6L6s is concerned.

The head is played through my Zilla Cabs Mini Modern 1x12 which is fitted with a Celestion Creamback speaker.

It was mic'd with a Rode NT1 and a Shure SM57, running into an Apogee Duet 2 and on into Logic.

All the reverb is from the amp.
