The Dunes have quickly gained a reputation in Adelaide as the town's leading dream-gaze-psych band, incorporating haunting guitar lines with reverb-drenched vocals, fuzzed out bass and 60s inspired keys. Their latest mini-EP BAD:LANDS captures the bands true live sound; extended jams and repetitive noise that opens the mind and expands the consciousness. Determined to forge ahead with this new sound, The Dunes have recently introduced Organs and Synthesizers to their arsenal, giving the music dark psychedelic undertones, simultaneously allowing the songs room to breathe and fill the room. Add to this the sea of pedals and heavily reverbed vocals - it’s easy to get lost in the wall of bliss. All of this is reflected in their double A-Side single released in September 2014; BAD:LANDS. The 2nd half of 2014 will be a big for The Dunes, with plans to tour extensively to the eastern states, whilst prepare more material for their next recordings. The Dunes are Stacie Reeves, Matt Reiner, Dan Fernie Harper, Adam Vanderwerf and Jess Honeychurch.

"...Badlands incorporates a repetitive synth beat, bass lines and keys, with fuzzed out guitars and delayed vocals. It culminates into a wall of sound that dissolves into a synth freak out."
