DESCRIPTION:
In 2003, brothers Daniel McKewen (Uilleann pipes, guitar, bodhran) and John McKewen (tenor banjo, bouzouki, vocals) started the band with high school friend Bryan Brookes (flute, whistle, concertina). After a brief period, they added Josh Franck (button accordion, vocals, bodhran), who they knew from church. Then several years later, Josh's dad Phil Franck (fiddle, bouzouki, 5-string banjo) was asked into the band.
