Dead Beat Poetry is a Rock n Roll band from Dallas, Texas; formed in 2008 by guitarist Lulio Guevara. Although there have been many incarnations, they have found the perfect lineup , downsizing from a 3 piece to a duo with drummer Brandon Keebler. They come together creating a unison that brings the essence of rock back from the old school; the raw and gritty elegance that seems to be absent in today's deluded music scene. Dead Beat Poetry puts the dirt back in the music, music that came from the ground, with roots in Blues that branch out all the way to Rock "and all point in between"*. Dead Beat Poetry is working on a new album due out this summer.(2013)
