Ah, The Deacons. They're a punk group from Kansas City. Sharing members from prominent groups such as Dirty Work, Beta Boys, and Nuke Cult, The Deacons delivers some righteous, face-meltin' rock-influenced punk grooves. Some tantalizing riffs n' basslines, some of the best drumming I've heard in a while, along with a vocalist some of you might recognize, it's hard not to fall for this expertly-crafted shit. Dirty Work died and was reincarnated as this punk rock n' roll brainchild, and was then immortalized on this four-track cassette tape. I'm not complainin'.
