Tenterhook perform 'Rust' for The Crypt Sessions

19-year old Archie Faulks (aka Tenterhook) has caused quite a stir this year amongst both fans and critics alike. Tenterhook's 1st E.P. included the celebrated tracks Stereo and Chemicals portray a collection of beautifully constructed, tender pop. Marrying his delicate yet anthemic melodies with sparse guitar and piano accompaniment, Tenterhook released his stunning four-track debut offering in September; further cementing his place as one of this years most exciting new musicians.

Following the release of his debut self-titled EP earlier this year, Tenterhook – 19-year-old Archie Faulks – returns with his new EP ‘Tenterhook 2’ out 24th November via Cartoon Records.

New track, ‘Go Easy’ elevates his distinctive falsetto and knack for a warm, enticing melody. Influences including Nick Drake, Damien Rice and Bon Iver, along with modern pop, are twisted through the four-track EP, which was produced by Anthony Leung at London’s Crypt Studios.

Tenterhook will also support Icelandic musician Ásgeir on his European tour in November and December, including a date at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 26th November. 2014 has already seen him sell out his two headline shows at London’s prestigious Servant Jazz Quarters and St. Pancras Old Church, as well as various support dates with Luke Sital Singh, Young The Giant and Grant Nicholas (Feeder). Tenterhook has also clocked up plays with Radio 1's Zane Lowe and Alice Levine, XFM’s John Kennedy, 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and on Amazing Radio.
