The Cadettes

The Cadettes is a Norwegian circus-pop orchestra consisting of four men and a lovely lady, all in their mid 20s. Inspired by the 19th century travelling circus with it's rowdy, loud and even sometimes quite lewd athmosphere spiced with clowns, sawdust, elephants - the Cadettes turns the crazy circus we all live in into sweet melodies, with a reference to the sweet sound of the 50's and 60's. The whole new concept of circus-pop gives the Cadettes a unique sound, always bringing the listener into the magic world of clowns and cotton candy. And it's all brought to you by musicians of some of the highest profiled norwegian artists. The circus theme is appearent in their melodies, sound, lyrics, performances and outfits - And it's not just another gimmick. Life really is a circus. What you see is not always true, and the truth is not always what people let you see. At the moment they are working on their debut album "For Your Pleasure" recorded and produced by Sigmund Vegge and The Cadettes. The four songs featured at MySpace is a demo that gives a taste of the upcoming record. More to come!
