Education Performance: Morgan Wood, a student at Otterbein University, was personally invited by Broadway star Patina Miller to perform onstage during her cabaret. Morgan has participated in educational programming through The Cabaret for several years. Here is what Morgan had to say about her experience: “I had the unbelievable opportunity this past weekend to perform in Patina Miller's show at The Cabaret…I cannot even put it into words how grateful I am for this experience. Only in my dreams did I think I would ever perform on the same stage as Patina Miller, let alone sing a song in front of her that she was the first one to sing in the original production [of Sister Act] at the young age of twenty-four! I will never forget this magical moment and I intend to take it with me for the rest of my career, including this summer when I play 'Deloris' [in Sister Act] at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts in Warsaw, Indiana!”
