The 2013 Battle of the Boroughs was the biggest yet of our four seasons of the citywide talent quest.

Hundreds of bands entered. More than 60 were selected. Then the competition came down to five borough finalists and one Wild Card pick in our final concert on June 21, 2013. This year, voters chose Manhattan's Villalobos Brothers as their Ultimate Battle champion. Besides bragging rights, they win a coveted spot on the famed Apollo Theater's Amateur Night stage and a concert of their own at The Greene Space.
