Serbian three voiced bagpipes usually known as Velike gajde (big bagpipes) or Banatske gajde (bagpipes from Banat). This type is in the direct evolution connection with Erske gajde (Erske, also called bagpipes from Svrljig). From central part of nowdays Serbia, three voiced bagpipes emanate on the north to the area of Banat, Bačka, Srem, Baranja and even to the northwest to Slavonia. During propagation on the other places this instrument come trough some changes in appearance and instrument size. Bagpipes from Banat are the biggest Serbian bagpipe with enormous chanter and enormous bell on the end of chanter, also this type is most complicated and with most delicate construction.
