Hi little monsters, I'm Bridget Daly and you're watching ClevverMusic. As you know Lady Gaga split from her longtime creative director LaurieAnn Gibson earlier this week, and now Gibson is speaking out about it for the first time. She talked with the Hollywood reporter, saying that she wasn't fired, and decided to leave on her own. She also said that Gaga wanted to take the reins when it came to making decisions about her career.

She continued in a statement, "I am fulfilled with the work I have done with choreographing all of the iconic moves, creative directing the artist, appearances, shows, directing the tour, music videos, and the HBO Monster Ball which was a culmination of my work as its creator and director. Recently, Lady Gaga was motivated to take the helm of the creative direction of her career and as such I decided to step away."

Gibson said she'll focus on other artists and her reality show now. Sounds pretty drama free actually. So do you guys believe the split was really this amicable?
