This is the Bible Belt, a land of salvation, single moms, domestic violence, divorce & tattoos. It is the Old South, heartbroken yet beautiful. In a forgotten, white house on the outskirts of town, Tyler Hayes sits with a Red Bull, Marlboro dangling from his lips & carves his heart out with a trusty Gibson & pen & paper. Why? Tyler’s story starts similar to thousands of others. An early Christmas brought the first drum-kit, and recognition of natural talent. A chance meeting at the age of 12 with a pawn shop guitar found in his Mom’s closest led him to Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes & Stevie Ray Vaughn, and by 16, he had entered the Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Gram Parsons, School of Hard Knocks Writing. Surviving a rough childhood, bad breaks & heartbreak, by age 17 Tyler was packing out coffee houses & rock clubs across the Carolinas. Writing, singing & sharing life’s joys & pains…Tyler Hayes follows the still, small voice in his soul.
