Singer/Songwriter Adam Michael DUNCAN was born on July 23, 1987 in Denver, Colorado. DUNCAN grew up in a music filled home and his love for music came through at an early age. He began to sing as he began to walk and no time he was singing and dancing like a pro.
Not one to be to interested in school, DUNCAN began to write as an outlet and at 13 built a recording studio in his basement. By embracing his writing side, it set in motion a talent that would include singing, rapping, and producing.
DUNCAN started his career as an artist by collaborating with several Denver artists. He then teamed up with D-kno and Frankie Figgz to form Infinite Mindz. Additions to the group followed including rapper, Spoke in Wordz, Ace (The Paradox) and Denver music industry vet DJ Chonz of KS 107.5 - "Radio Bums". Through word of mouth, they gained a huge regional following.
In September 2009 DUNCAN released his first project as a solo artist -The "Inglorious Basterd Mixtape," mixed and hosted by DJ Quote (The Beat Maker) and his debut solo release, The CA through multi-platinum songwriter/producer Nathan Reid's Indie Label, Mercury Sauce. The CA features tracks from Mass Prod (The Food Chain), spoken word sensation Bianca Mikahn, Ace (The Paradox), Britney Williams, D-KNO & Frankie Figgz (Infinite Mindz), and Venus Cruz.
DUNCAN has opened for, White Tie Affair, Asher Roth, Method Man, Murs, Too Short, Luckyiam, The Sand People, People Under the Stairs, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Baby Bash, Cunninglynguist, Tonedeff, LuckyIam, and many more. DUNCAN has performed at The Belly Up, Aspen, Co, The Marquis Theater, Cervantes, Herman's Hideaway, Oriental Theater, The Gothic Theater, and Bender's Tavern. Further evidence of his skills as a growing artist include the Southern Comfort tour with Gnarls Barkley, a set with Westword's Music Showcase, Myspace Secret Show, Murs Album Release, and Channel 2 "The Duece" with Maneline. The Mountain "Dew Tour" Breckinridge, Colorado, CU Underground, and KS 107.5. DUNCAN has been featured in Westword Magazine, Colorado Music Buzz, and Fly Magazine.
In 2010 as a contestant in the "Magnum Live Large Project-Talent Search" DUNCAN placed 3rd nationwide. As a contestant in the Andre Harrell Superstar Soul Search, a worldwide search for the next R&B/Soul superstar DUNCAN placed 2nd .
DUNCAN has most recently opened for IYAZ, Ali Pierre, Mike Posner, Taib Kweli, Flo-Rida and at Miami's Y100-Jingle Ball.
As the model for true vocal talent and writing ability bends and flexes in a less sure music paradigm, DUNCAN will continue to pursue his dream to bring the very best music and performances to everyone.
