With experience comes power, and that's exactly what 2012 have displayed on the Colorado hip-hop/latin-hop scene for the past 4 years. As the force knocks down a variety of shows ranging from small nightclubs packed with roughly 200 spectators, they show no fear of numbers as they carry the ability to rock shows that attract up to 5000 watchers.



As the eyes of critical fans watch, 2012 constantly represents "brown pride" in an undeniable fashion that even Caucasians can't help but to move to. They have meshed together a sound so unique that newcomers stare in awe at the showmanship and stage-presence they bring to a packed room and knock down the walls with the ruckus show they have developed.



With a deadly combo of Latin dance and hip hop, the conventional 2 rapper show is thrown out the window as they often have choreographed dancers that give the viewer more to see. In past shows, such as the Kumbia Kings show, they had local Choreographer Ray Maestas, winner of 30 Seconds of Fame on Fox back in 03, put together an astonishing dance routine to give fans their moneys worth. The music proves to be seductive to ladies hips and empowering to the Latino in you.



The two members blend together to bring a deep and smooth sound. The Juice aka El Tio Hugo, mesmerizes the crowd with his smooth and soft tone massaging the ear drums with a quick and steady barrage of punch lines and rhyme schemes in both English and Spanish to help provoke the fans jaw to drop. Role Play brings a deep and powerful flow to set the tempo that 2012 has come to end all shows.



Their repertoire includes shows with Akwid, Kumbia Kings, NB Ridaz, Kid Frost, Lighter Shade of Brown, Fat Joe, Do or Die, Twista, Lucky Luciano and Filero of Dope House Records. With every show under their belt, the helpless crowds beneath their stage become more and more amazed at the dynamic duo. The breathtaking shows they present feed fuel to the fire of why people should fear the numbers 2012.
