http://www.ascap.com Songwriters Eric Paslay and Terry Sawchuk, writers of Jake Owen's hit "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," performed their own version of the song (backed by the Vanderbilt University Drumline) at the 50th anniversary celebration of ASCAP's Country Music Awards held on October 29th at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville. The song was honored as one of the 2012 ASCAP Country Music Songs of the Year.
