Wish that the holidays brought out the best in me
These days are hard to spend with my family
They remind me of what will never be
And I'm vulnerable

Christmas lights blink and flash
We hang ornaments from our past
We share a moment that will never last
We're vulnerable

I wanna drink
I wanna lose myself
Into the body of someone else
Someone to brave to have ever felt
This vulnerable

I'm in a chair
I'm leaning back
With my eyes closed
Wish I could trust the one I love
When my throat's exposed

"Silent Night" oh I can't sleep
"Oh Holy Night" I think of God
I think of those that have got nothin'
I should be thankful for what I've got
