Terese Genecco (pronounced Teh-REECE Jeh-NECK-oh) and her little Big Band at the Cutting Room
Music Critic Will Friedwald of The Wall Street Journal says that "if the Ratpack ever returned from the Great Casino in the Sky, the first female singer I would recommend to join their clan is this high-voltage entertainer!" She has been hailed as "the love-child of Dean Martin & Judy Garland" by the San Francisco Examiner and the act continues to be a Critic's Pick and Top Ten favorite of Time Out New York Magazine since first appearing at Jazz @ Lincoln Center in New York City in 2005.

Ms. Genecco was a 2010 MAC Award Nominee in the Major Artist category, a 2010 OutMusic Award Nominee in 3 separate categories, the 2009 MAC Award Winner for Outstanding Female Vocalist, a 2009 OutMusic Award Winner for Outstanding Comedy/Cabaret Song; a 2008 MAC Award Winner for Outstanding Recording, and a 2007 Back Stage Bistro Award Winner for Outstanding Tribute Show. She was San Francisco's "Entertainer of the Year" for 5 years in a row before relocating to New York City.

First known for her multi-award winning jazz/musical creation, "Drunk With Love: A Tribute To Frances Faye," Genecco has been a headliner from coast to coast with major engagements at The Rrazz Room, The Great American Music Hall and the Fillmore Jazz Festival in San Francisco, appearances in New York at The Iridium, B.B. King's Blues Club and Jazz @ Lincoln Center, opening for Grammy Winner Steve Tyrell at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in New Jersey, and as a headliner at The Peppermill Hotel & Casino in Reno.

Ms. Genecco is a graduate of Syracuse University's Drama Department (with a BFA in Musical Theater,) a produced playwright, and the owner and president of Mulligan Productions, a multi-divisional organization focused on the management, production, and promotion of live music, film, theater, and visual art.
