DESCRIPTION:
In which our heroes hold court at The Wind-Up Apace on a sleepy, rainy early Sunday afternoon during this year's ScapeScape Festival.

NOTE ABOUT THE EFFECT ON THIS VIDEO: I had a hard time shooting this set. There was very little light being thrown on the stage and there wasn't a single filter on my camera that could get around this problem. The problem wasn't just the lack of light, but the fact that I couldn't get the camera to focus on anything so, as a result, both of these Television Hill videos are totally out of focus.

The effect involves me using the (admittedly limited) YouTube tools to artificially jack up the lighting and contrast . . . and then cover all that with their "rotoscope" water color effect. Unfortunately, these videos are so dark and out of focus that even the water color effect doesn't really register. Of the two, it works a little bit better on "Loving Cup," but the whole effort is essentially an attempt to prettify videos that really didn't turn out.

Occasionally, this type of salvaging can result in something that's pretty cool (as I hope to be the case with the Moss of Aura videos), but in this instance, the videos are too over saturated, too dark and too out of focus.
