Cathie Kimble Shinn and I wrote this song for our friend's wedding, when neither of us had a single gray hair on our heads, although we had many other colors going on at various times. Telekin recorded the song in 1982 or 1983, so that makes it thirty years old now. Today is Cathie's birthday. We haven't seen each other in 20 years!! but I still love her as one of my best friends in this lifetime and the songs we wrote in the early 80s are still some of my favorites ever.
