Teia. O labirinto. O emaranhado. As linhas que se cruzam e entrecruzam em reflexo desconexo da pessoa. Dos Homens. Energia, reflexão, fúria, harmonia e caos. Alegria. O som moldado às palavras. A música ao tempo do verbo. Ao vivo os Teia são uma descarga de emoções. Usam o som em função das palavras. Inevitavelmente, o “som rock” mostra-se por vezes escasso para responder às inquietações da banda na hora de comunicar. Resultam numa fusão de múltiplas sonoridades que convergem num rock talhado, e retalhado, por uma parafernália de influências oriundas de toda a parte.
Fundados em 2004, apresentaram em 2007: “Lengalenga”. Eleito pelos ouvintes de algumas rádios como um dos 10 melhores E.P’s do ano, de imediato acolhido pela crítica como uma obra relevante, “Lengalenga” começa por conquistar airplay na Antena 3 após o lançamento por Henrique Amaro, no seu programa “Portugália”. Dezenas de rádios locais e regionais por todo o país recebem os Teia em entrevistas e programas especiais dedicados ao E.P de estreia. Em Janeiro deste ano (2009) gravaram áudio e dvd em duas noites no Teatro Helena Sá e Costa, no Porto. Está prevista a distribuição destes materiais no site da banda, no myspace e através do canal dos Teia no Youtube.Fazem agora o caminho para o novo disco e trazem para os palcos temas novos como “Melhor, Melhor” ou “Em torno do Verde”.

The music of time and verb. Teia’s live performances are a discharge of emotions. They work their sound around their words. Inevitably, their rock like sound is scarce & can not answer the band's feeling of unrest when it comes to communicate. So, Teia is a fusion: where multiple sounds merge and combine resulting in a rock like sound, cuted up by influences arriving from the oddest places.
Founded in 2004, they released in 2007:"Lengalenga". Voted by listeners of some radios as one of the 10 best E.P’s of the year, immediately considered by the critics has a relevant work, “Lengalenga” starts by gaining airplay in the radio Antena 3 after the debut by Henrique Amaro, in his show “Portugália”. Hundreds of local and regional radios across the country receive Teia in interview and special programs dedicated to their first E.P. In January (2009) they recorded the audio and the DVD of two nights in the Helena Sá e Costa theatre, in Porto. Distribution of these materials is predicted via the band's website, MySpace and Teia's YouTube channel. They are now on their way to a new cd and they bring on stage new themes like “Melhor, Melhor” or “Em torno do Verde”.
