Quentin Dupieux known to the world for his stunning music output as Mr. Oizo (that nice yellow toy character Flat Eric), he is also one of the most interesting and promising independent movie directors for today. He just released a new stunning LP “The Church” on Brainfeeder last November and his upcoming movie “Reality” is a very promising one. His first big debut in cinema - “Steak”, was a very underrated one, but for me personally it is one of the funniest movies of all times for sure. So the idea to make something that based on works of Mr. Dupieux came out very naturally for me.

“Chivers” is a small 4-track AUDIO/VIDEO EP, which tells some little funny and stupid stories about main characters from Dupieux’s movie “Steak” - Georges and Blaise (played by famous french comedy actors Eric Judor & Ramzy Bedia) and their involvement with the Chivers gang (gang members played by well known french music producers, like Vincent Belorgey aka Kavinsky and Sebastian Akchote aka SebastiAn of Ed Banger to name a few).

So count this as a tribute to the music and movies of Mr. Dupieux if you want to. Enjoy!
