DESCRIPTION: After a slew of scene-igniting weapons for Black Acre, Akira Kiteshi lands on Afterglo for his dynamic debut album. Like a Scottish Skrillex, Tommy Forrest conducts body twysting sawtooth synthlines and mind-erasing drops with visceral force. The highlights of these have to be the cutthroat chaos of 'Dark Optimus', the cheeky Industro-Disco swagger of 'Iron Man' and the relatively "nice" respite of 'Giving It Up' featuring the morphed vox of Heidi Vogel, but anyone who appreciates the craft of this sound will find much more to enjoy.
